What is graffiti art?

Graffiti is a very popular form of pop art as many artists use it to showcase their works in public places just as the arts are drawn on the canvas. Pop art promotes the quick reproduction of images for easy display. Being the most famous figure in the street art arena, Banksy is known for demonstrating an urban way of mocking, humor, fun, intelligence, and criticizing the contemporary political scenario. Enhanced his mystery and maintaining its anonymous identity, the artist has brought modifications to the street signs, illegally printed own currency and illicitly hung his drawings. As pop art has grown to prominence, there is rampant use of stencils. 

Stencils are made of thin materials like plastic, metal, or paper. The definite image, numbers, and letters are printed on it when it is by hand or with the machines. These stencils differ in size starting from very small to very large. As the artist criticizes present-day consumerism, political authoritarian idea, terrorism, and the status of art, he/she uses spray paint and stencils. What is Pop Art?
